The Benvereens' CD Release Extravaganza
Come one, come all to the launch party for The Benvereens' Ready to Go on Wednesday, November 28 at The Piston, 937 Bloor St. W., Toronto. We'll kick off the night around 9 p.m. by playing our CD in its entirety along with a few choice oldies. Then you're in a for a treat: we've invited a slew of our friends from the '90s indie scene to come up and play two songs each—one of theirs and a Sour Landslide oldie—with us as their backing band. Members of Another Fine Mess, Wallnut, Tractor Pull, Soap Opera, Joe's Funeral, Bory Grove, Dig Circus, Snidely Whiplash, The Coles and The Lowest of the Low will be on hand, along with a surprise guest who has come out of retirement for the occasion. Doors at 8 p.m., no cover, and CDs will be on sale for just $10. Great music, great people and a great time are guaranteed!
