In Search of April

Here in Toronto, we had our April in March and as payback, we're now getting March in April (snow is predicted for Monday and Tuesday). So, budding flowers aside, how can you tell what month it actually is?

Simple. Check the AL East standings. Who's in first, Mr. Abbott? The sad-sack Baltimore Orioles, of course—an anomaly that can only occur in the month of April.
